Ray-Ban eyewear manufacturer is particularly bullish on the Chinese market According to foreign media reports, Milan-based Italian eyewear group Luxottica is targeting Brazil, India and China as future growth markets. The company intends to increase the share of sales revenue from emerging markets to about 20% of its global revenue.

The company's chief executive, Andrei Guerra, said the goal is to have 20 percent of sales revenue and 12 percent of stores in the three and other selected emerging market countries by 2012. In 2009, the two ratios were 14 per cent and 6 per cent, respectively. Guerra said the big opportunity would be in China.
