The Minimal Baroque collection is the perfect expression of the Prada brand's identity. Prada unveils the new Minimal Baroque sunglasses, which debuted on the Prada runway five years ago. Launched in 2011, the collection quickly became a new icon of the brand.

The bold lines and silhouettes are inspired by the Maison's originality and exude an unmistakable and unique character. The new collection continues the brand's creative approach to experimentation and craftsmanship, with the aim of taking Prada's unique aesthetic to new heights. The Baroque era is one of the most extravagant periods in the history of art, with a large number of floral elements and botanical motifs becoming its own stylistic characteristics.

Minimal Baroque brings new life to the Baroque art inspired by the elements of Baroque art. The abstract transformation of botanical motifs such as leaves, bay branches and palm leaves into fluid, curling circular lines is a perfect expression of the motif's unique style.

The frames of these sunglasses are framed by the curves of leaf buds and branches, revealing elegance and sophistication beneath the protruding exterior. The new Minimal Baroque collection is available in three models, reimagining the glamorous and complex decorative motifs of the past in a simpler and more fluid way.

The unique pattern is perfectly combined with the frames of the sunglasses, which is both decorative and practical, creating a three-dimensional sense of interweaving fantasy and reality. SPR 07T is the ultimate expression of Minimal Baroque's sleek baroque aesthetic, enhanced by handcrafted metal.

The oversized frames, double-bridge nose bridge, shimmering hinge elements and butterfly wings are perfectly integrated to add chic elegance. The bold curved temples are embellished with spirals and stars for a feminine appeal.

Available in five colourways, this is a new take on the classic original silhouette, with subtle contrasts and a vibrant, wide-brimmed silhouette. The combination of multi-coloured superimposed panels with plain panels with nuanced multi-coloured panels creates a striking bas-relief effect. Artistic symmetry and delicate curves create a three-dimensional silhouette that visually echoes the round lenses.

Available in three colourways, the perfect combination of tortoiseshell and black with ivory or red. SPR 08T: The last eyewear in the collection is a new interpretation of the original model with a new and tasteful design language. Crafted from shiny acetate, it showcases the exquisite beauty of Minimal Baroque. The style retains the classic and fluid frontal silhouette, with curved temples that animate the oversized round frames, and a bas-relief effect created by the combination of two-tone plates to make the overall effect even more impactful.
