Mantra Eyewear Held a Buy One Donate Charity Sale to Help Rural Students Recently, the Mantra brand launched a charity sale in Beijing. The company said it would help children in rural China correct their vision through a buy-one-give-one model of glasses. It is understood that Sam, a 28-year-old young man from Columbia University in the United States, has a long-term teaching experience in Yunnan, China.

During this period, due to the backward conditions in the local area, many children had their studies affected due to vision problems. This gave Sam the idea to help these children regain their sight and continue their education. Research shows that at least 20 percent of the nearly 220 million students in rural China need glasses to correct their vision. However, only 6% of students were able to wear glasses.

This means that more than 30 million rural students have vision problems that do not receive timely treatment. Previously, Sam's non-profit organizations have provided free eye examinations for more than 110,000 poor students in Yunnan and donated more than 15,000 pairs of glasses to students in need. In order to help more children have equal access to education, Sam and his friend Andrew founded Mantra and decided to bring the well-established buy-one-give-one social consumption model to China.

The recent bazaar comes as the company intends to further expand its influence in China. The company announced that in order to help more children correct their vision, it will provide a free pair of myopia glasses for every pair of sunglasses sold through a buy-one-give-one model. Sam says that while today with myopia glasses, myopia can be solved very easily.

However, in many remote rural areas, students do not have access to such vision correction. We hope to be able to support more students in need through the buy-one-donate model. In fact, this marketing method is very mature in foreign markets, which can achieve huge benefits between business and charity, and has a huge increase in brand value.

TOMS, a U.S. canvas shoe brand, Feed, a canvas bag brand, and Warby Parker, an eyewear e-commerce company, have all achieved success, and their sales revenue has supported the continuation of their businesses. And philanthropy also gives back to its brand better brand awareness, image and direct sales. It is reported that Mantra's charity sale will continue in Beijing.
