Intel began to lay out AR glasses capable of remote collaboration
Intel has become a well-known old brand in the computer field.
But the business that has been in place for decades is now starting to change direction.
At the Intel Developer Conference, which began on Tuesday, Intel revealed that it is more interested in projects such as driverless cars, VR/AR glasses and artificial intelligence.
In the past, at Intel Developer Conferences, attendees were looking forward to new PC processors.
And this year, they will see drones, robots, and VR and AR headsets that they can try on.
But it's not an easy transition for Intel.
Since April this year, the company has laid off a total of 12,000 employees to restructure.
According to foreign media reports, Intel will also show their RealSense 3D camera,
The camera can recognize objects, measure distances, just like Microsoft's Kinect,
Pose tracking is also possible.
At the same time, VR and AR products developed independently or with partners will be showcased at the developer conference.
Or there will be an Intel version of HoloLens, a pair called Remote EyeSight,
AR glasses that enable remote collaboration.
Spectacle frames.
