The most influential is Google Glass. At this year's Google developer conference, the company launched its future-focused smart product, Google Glass, with a huge skydive.

Google says it's a futuristic augmented reality headset that could one day replace the smartphones in our hands. Google announced that it will make a prototype of the smart glasses available to a handful of developers in 2013 for $1,500.
