The glasses industry in Longgang District has a good industrial foundation and a high degree of industrial agglomeration.

At present, there are nearly 400 glasses enterprises in Longgang District, with an annual output of more than 100 million pairs of glasses.

 

95% of the products are exported to more than 120 countries and regions.

 

Longgang glasses production enterprises have large scale, strong design capabilities, production technology and processing level are higher than those in other regions.

 

It occupies a leading position in the domestic high-end glasses market.

 

As a result, Henggang has become a production center for world-renowned eyewear brands.

 

At present, there are 20 backbone enterprises in the glasses industry in China's glasses export base.

 

Among them, the number of employees of the four leading enterprises of Yajun, Xinghui, Gaohua and Gaoya has reached more than 5,000

 

The annual export volume is more than 900 million yuan, and the export scale ranks in the forefront of the domestic industry.

 

In 2013, the annual export of 20 backbone enterprises reached 55.375 million pairs.

 

The annual export value reached 6,052.1 million yuan, accounting for 46.6% of the base's total exports.

 

Longgang District and China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Light Industry and Crafts jointly built the "China Glasses Export Base",

 

It will play a positive role in building Longgang into a world-class high-end glasses R&D and manufacturing base, fashion design center and brand release center.

 

After the inauguration of the base, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Light Industry and Crafts will provide information on the production, trade, science and technology of related products at home and abroad to the base enterprises.

 

Organize base enterprises to participate in domestic and foreign exhibitions, trade promotion missions and other trade activities
