On July 28, Mr. Xie Gongwan delivered a keynote speech on "The Internet-based Practice of Vision-connected Network &E+E College" in the special session of the "Global Optometry Education and Talent Education and Training Summit Forum and National College Optometry-related Professional Teacher Training Course", as a warm-up for the official release of "Vision-connected Network" and "E+E College".

On July 29, 2016, at the opening ceremony of 2016 VisionChina, Mingyue Eyewear Group and the School of Optometry Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University jointly released China's most influential optometry platform - VisionNetwork. More than 2,000 experts, scholars, and representatives of industry enterprises in the field of optometry attended the event.
